Founded in 2009, MPLS.TV is an independent Minneapolis based content network produced by Do-It-Together collective of videographers, writers, and other creators.
For almost half a decade now, First Avenue’s Get Cryphy has been the monthly destination for local fans of rap, getting stupid, and/or shaking their things. The dance night celebrates its four-year anniversary on Friday, February 24.

The day has come! Tonight MFR, Vita.mn, Copycats Media, and MPLS.TV present the third annual The Best Love Is Free at the Fine Line Music Cafe. The evening includes performances from Culture Cry Wolf, Toki Wright, Crunchy Kids, K.Flay, Wesley Opus, CeeWHY, Slipmats Ent, and all of their friends. Everyone in attendance will receive TBLIF compilation CD and download card (total of 67 tracks and other goodies) for free!
Come out early, there will only be a few tickets at the door! Also, the first 50 people in the door will receive a limited edition screen-printed poster that kicks so much butt your friends will try to steal it.

The Alcohol By Volume series exists to bring together Minneapolis’ music scene with it’s thriving craft cocktail culture. On Monday we announced our first bartender participant, Rob Jones, and now we put the final piece of the puzzle in place for tomorrow night’s event. Our second bartender to enter the ring will be Richy Rivera.
Overdosing on chocolate samplers and setting unrealistic relationship expectations may be most people’s Valentine’s Day traditions, but Minneapolis rapper Botzy is working on building a better one. Saturday, February 11 marks the third annual The Best Love is Free, an affection-themed show with an accompanying CD showcasing local and national performers.
